300 Buick Water Pump HI Flow Kit 64 65 66 67 Wildcat 310 355 1964 1965 1966 1967

This is a Brand New Hi Flow water pump with gasket. With gasket for 300 & 340 cubic inch Buick engines (Wildcat 310 / Wildcat 355 / Wildcat 350 / Wildcat 375). This water pump will fit 1964, 1965, 1966, & 1967 300 & 340 cubic inch engines. This is a custom made high flow 16 blade water pump. A new gasket and plug are included (the plug goes in the top of the pump).

Some application require the use of a hose fitting instead of the plug (you will have to get the hose fitting). The impeller is designed to generate higher flow rates and increase system pressure. When flow rate is maximized, the higher flow rates raise engine block pressure to prevent the formation of steam pockets in the water jacket and the vapor barrier that can cause hot spots on cylinder walls. Also included is a special thermostat to be used with this water pump. A thermostat gasket is also included. The thermostat has a unique three port construction or balanced sleeve design equalizes the system pressures above and below the thermostat's moving valve. Therefore the thermostat is pressure balanced and will respond to system temperatures only. No other thermostat does this.
